Dr Sanjay Subrahmanyam awarded the prestigious Prix International de l’Histoire at the 23rd International Congress of Historical Sciences held in Poznan, Poland on 24th August, 2022

Dr Sanjay Subrahmanyam, eminent historian & the Irving and Jean Stone Endowed Chair in Social Sciences Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, was awarded the prestigious Prix International de l’Histoire at the 23rd International Congress of Historical Sciences held in Poznan, Poland on 24th August. Ambassador Nagma M Mallick attended the ceremony at Teatr Polski and hosted a reception for all the participants in honour of the awardee. Prof Catherine Horel, President of the International Committee for Historical Sciences, senior representatives from the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, and other distinguished academics from all over the world attended the ceremony and reception.
