Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF)

MIFF is a biennial documentary, short fiction and animation film festival organized by the Films Division under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India and is at par with International Film Festivals like Leipzig, Berlin, Oberhausen, Cracow and Tampere etc.

It is an important platform for the documentary, short fiction and animation film makers to meet, interact and exchange ideas, as it attracts the best of films made all over the world.

The 15th Edition of Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) is scheduled to be held from 28th January to 3rd February 2018. The Golden Conch, the prestigious top award of MIFF amounting to approximately INR 60 lakhs, recognizes the best talent in documentary & animation film making.

Documentary films, short fiction (upto 45 minutes), and animation films produced between 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2017 are eligible for entry in the relevant category. The last date for submitting entries is Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
