Participate in the Yoga Video Blogging Contest

The world is gearing up to observe the sixth International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 21st June 2020. On this occasion, the Ministry of AYUSH and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) have jointly come up with the My Life – My Yoga ( also called “Jeevan Yoga”) Video Blogging Contest. Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has announced the contest during Mann ki Baat. Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19, Government of India is encouraging people to practice Yoga at their homes (Ghar Ghar se Yoga), with participation from the entire family. The contest will support participation via the social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Video contest will be open to participants from all countries. #MyLifeMyYoga (country name)to be held in the run up to #InternationalDayofYoga 2020.

The entries can be submitted through My Gov platform and portal of the Ministry of AYUSH.

Gist of rules for "MyLifeMyYoga"/"Jeevan Yoga" video blogging contest -

You could send your entry in the following categories-

1. Youth
(Below 18 yrs.)

2. Adult
(Above 18 yrs.)

3. Yoga Professionals

(Certified yoga teachers as per the guidelines)

Winners will be awarded the following cash prizes for all the six categories -

First Prize -     PLN500
Second Prize - PLN300
Third Prize -    PLN200

Global prize as announced by Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India:

First Prize - US$2500
Second Prize - US$1500
Third Prize - US$1000

2. A 3 mins. Yoga video should be uploaded by the contestants on their Facebook/Twitter/YouTube/Instagram with hastags as per the guidelines e.g. #MyLifeMyYogaPoland #FemaleAdult. The video should be made Public and should be downloadable.
Also like MinistryofAyush page and tag Ministry of AYUSH.

3. In the yoga video you need to perform any Yoga kriya/asana/pranayama with a short message on how it changed your life. Send the link of your video post on FB/Instagram/YouTube/Twitter to the Embassy by 21st June, 2020.
